Back in July the week leading up to the 2006 US MotoGP at Laguna Seca, Brianna
and Robert were in Hollywood at Paramount Studios.  Red Bull had a sneak peek to
the new documentary/movie "The Doctor, The Texas Tornado and The Kentucky Kid"
It was about the days of the 2005 US MotoGP event.  It was a very cool and fun
experience for them.  Many of the MotoGP stars were there with quite a few other
notable people there!
We all recognize this!

Well many of us have that dream car, house or vacation.  Well Robert finally got the
dream bike.  As you can see in the TSP Staff Roster page, he mentions a Yamaha
YZR500 GP racebike as a dream bike.  Well... He got as close as he ever will to one.
Take a look at his 1985 Yamaha RZ500, a street replica of the YZR that Yamaha
produced back in the mid-eighties for 3 years.  It was never imported into the U.S.
But there are a few collectors that have brought them in carefully and are street legal.
He was at Mid-Ohio Vintage Motorcycle Days Race/Swapmeet.  It was a week after
the MotoGP.  He was walking around the swap meet and low and behold there sits the
BIKE.  The RZ500.  He spent a whole day walking by it and speaking with the owner.
But it wasn't unitl it was started up, that things really started looking like it was coming
home to Pennsylvania with him.
"I went back to hotel that night and told myself, if it is there in the morning then it is a
done deal.  I heard someone else was going to buy it that day after I left.", explained
Robert.  "I got to the swap meet Saturday morning and went straight to where the bike
was.  It was threre! So it was a done deal.  I got the bike I have wanted since I was like
12 years old. (1985)  I am getting it tuned up and will get some miles put on it!!!"
Here are some photos from the Laguna Seca to Mid-Ohio drive that Robert took.

Brianna's first bike!  She found a 1972 Honda CT70-H that is almost completely original. The first
bike she ever rode by herself was a 1971 Honda CT70, she was heartbroken when it got sold.  Now
she has one! Now she is going to work on her shifting skills!
At the Phoenix Motorcycle we were set-up at the Cardinals Stadium.  You can see
in the photos they were getting ready for a concert...The Rolling Stones concert!
The machine that Chris Carr piloted to over 350 MPH.  The fastest man on two wheels!
