Must be installed with the shield removed. The top tab slides into place first and the bottom snaps in second. Then the shield can be installed. Use warm water to clean them. If spray cleaners or polishes are used be sure they are safe for plastic use. But always spray the cleaners or polishes on to a cloth rag or cleaning cloth then use on helmet, shield or parts.
