Arai Genuine Mirrorized Shield -
The mirrorized color coating is applied onto an Arai Light tint shield. Mirrorized film has a hydrophobic coating to help repel water. Mirrorized coating requires careful maintenance. Warm water on a soft cloth can be used to gently clean the shield. Read more below about cleaning. Scuffing, scratching or peeling of the mirrorized film is not covered under the manufacturers warranty.
The Arai shields are formed from Polycarbonate, a high quality & durable plastic. All Arai shields have a hard coating applied to them as well. The best cleaner for all plastic shields is water. If you choose to use other cleaners, be sure to check to make sure it is safe for use on plastics. TSP suggests no matter what cleaner or polish you use, do not spray directly on the shield, helmet or other parts. Spray onto a cloth rag or cleaning cloth of some kind then clean your shield.
