Pinlock inserts for XD series helmets (XD, XD3, XD4). Insert will only work in conjunction with XD series Pinlock ready shield. When both insert and shield are used together, this system will prevent fogging.

*Please note that Pinlock has recently changed the styling of the lenses and the packaging, so what you receive may not look exactly like the photos, but will work with any Pinlock-ready Arai XD series shield.
Genuine Pinlock insert for XD Series-
These inserts are only for use with Arai XD Series Pinlock-Ready Shields. The shields are sold separately.
These Pinlock inserts are made from a moisture absorbing plastic, and have a limit to how much moisture they can absorb over their lifetime. Pinlock insert life is extended if it is only installed when needed. They are not to be stored on the shield 100% of the time, unless needed by rider.
Shield must be removed for installation of insert. Make sure the side of the insert with silicone gasket is the side that is placed against the shield. Read over instructions that are included with the insert for proper care and storage of the insert. They are delicate, so take special care when handling and cleaning them. There are eccentric pins on the shield, to be used for setting the tension of the inserts (when needed). Only adjust the pins on the shield with the insert removed.
